Sketch Kids Two Week Camp (Ages 8-12)
Ready to learn more about theatre and have some fun with sketch comedy at the same time? Join us for our Sketch Kids Summer Camp at the Village Theatre with Sanna Haynes and John Philip Buisman!
Within the two-week program, we will be working on:
• Sketch Writing
• Creating a Character
• Rehearsing Scripts
• Sketch Videos
We will work and support each other as a group as we grow in our theatre knowledge, character development and comedic timing! On the last Friday of camp, we will have a pizza party for lunch to celebrate our experiences from the camp while also giving out individual awards, signed posters and a customized Sketchworks’ Kids t-shirt.
The end result of the kids’ hard work will be a Sketch Showcase on Saturday. The kids will help come up with a show title/theme and then we create special artwork to help promote their show. The entire live performance will be filmed and edited to create a DVD!
